Frequently Asked Questions

Q. I am brand new at Pilates and have never used a reformer before. What class would you recommend I do as a first timer?

We absolutely love having new people in the studio who have never stepped foot onto a reformer before. They can be very intimidating machines but please don't be nervous, we are here to help you learn the ropes and the machine itself.

Firstly, we would get you to purchase the introductory offer of 3 class for $49 and then book into our 'Intro to Pilates' class which is held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays as of January 1st. These classes are here to help you gain the confidence and knowledge of jumping into the other classes. You can do one or as many as you like until you feel comfortable and confident.

Q. Would you recommend a membership or pack for someone who wants to come consistently and on a regular basis?

We would highly recommend one of our memberships as that does work out cheaper if you do want to come weekly. We have a few options available that can be seen in our pricing section on our website. You can always bump up or down your membership over time if you wish to come more or less. But if you are unsure of if you want to get onto a membership, you can always start off with a pack and move onto a membership. Note, our packs do last a whole year so there is no pressure of using them in a short time frame.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 10-hour cancellation period so anything after that you will be charged and will lose that class/credit. Since we have only 8 spots, we need to be quite strict on this as we want to give everyone an opportunity to get into the class.

Q. Where are you located?

We are located at 232 Henley Beach Road, Torrensville. But we are not visible from the street as we are at the rear of the property. The Adelaide Wellness Clinic is at the front, so just follow the signs down the side pathway and you'll see us.

Q. What should I wear/bring?

Wear something you feel comfortable to workout in and that will allow full range of motion. Socks are optional but if you do choose to wear socks, grip socks are preferred for less slipping and sliding than regular socks. A sweat towel is highly recommended and also a water bottle. We have a water cooler to refill your water bottle if needed.

We have mini storage units at the back of each reformer to pop your belongings into when you arrive, but please note all personal belongings and valuables that are brought into the studio are at your own risk and we do not take any responsibility for loss or damage.

Q. What if I have an injury/health condition?

We firstly recommend you getting approval from your medical practitioner or physiotherapist as they will advise you if your injury/health condition is suitable for group fitness training/reformer Pilates. If you are unsure or in doubt, please contact us before booking in to a class for a confidential discussion so that we can advise a suitable option that will suit you. An option may be doing a private 1:1 class to see determine if group classes will be suitable.

Q. Can I shower at the studio after a class?

Yes! We have one shower and a change room that you can use. Just remember to bring a towel as we do not provide towels. All facilities are gender neutral and are kept very clean.
